Olympia Buttermilk

Olympia Fabric216

Olympia Buttermilk is a warm, softly luminous plain that reads as an easy buttermilk cream in the swatch. Its fine, closely woven texture gives the colour a gentle depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a mellow cream tone with a subtle yellow warmth, so it feels lighter and softer than a stark ivory. The plain weave is clearly visible in the close texture, giving the surface a neat, contract-ready look without any obvious sheen. Made from 100% Polyester and tested to 40,000 Martindale, it is a practical choice for hard-working interiors, and the supplied back coating to Cigarette & Match to BS5852 supports commercial use. Professional dry clean in situ is recommended, with other treatments available upon request. The result is a versatile neutral that still carries enough warmth to stop a room feeling cold.

How to use it

Use this buttermilk shade on banquettes, loose covers or tailored curtains where you want a quiet, sunlit neutral. It pairs especially well with oak, linen, and deeper greens or charcoals for contrast.

A warm, easy cream that layers neatly with timber, stone and deeper accent colours.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
