Osaka Marmalade

Osaka Fabric09

Osaka Marmalade shows a glowing marmalade-gold tone with a softly slubbed, horizontally ribbed surface. The texture catches the light in warm highlights, giving the plain weave plenty of depth.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a rich golden orange with honeyed undertones, lifted by a lighter bouclé-like slub that runs across the surface. Made from 100% polyester, it is specified for Heavy Domestic use and achieves a 40,000 Martindale rub count, so it is well suited to busy seating as well as everyday scheme-building. The back coating is supplied to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and the fabric should be professionally dry cleaned in situ, with the pattern book consulted for further care instructions. Its warm, tactile finish gives the plain design a lively, sunlit character without appearing glossy or sharp.

How to use it

Use Osaka Marmalade to warm up a neutral sofa, armchair or ottoman, especially in rooms with oak, walnut or plaster tones. The colour’s amber depth also works well as a bold accent against cream, taupe or deep brown upholstery.

A warm, textural gold that brings easy brightness to upholstered pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
