Osaka Sage

Osaka Fabric10

Osaka Sage shows a softly mottled sage tone with olive undertones and a tactile, nubbly plain weave. The surface catches the light unevenly, giving the colourway a grounded, quietly textural look.

About this fabric

This Osaka colourway is woven in 100% polyester and specified for heavy domestic use, with a 40,000 Martindale rating and back coating to Cigarette & Match to BS5852. Visually, the fabric reads as a muted sage olive, with darker shadowy flecks threaded through the weave and lighter khaki notes lifted on the ridges. The plain design has a rugged, slubbed texture rather than a smooth finish, which adds depth and makes the green feel more earthy than fresh. It is a practical upholstery option that suits everyday seating, and after care is professional dry clean in situ, with further guidance in the pattern book.

How to use it

Use Osaka Sage on an armchair, ottoman or banquette where its subdued green can sit comfortably with oak, blackened metal and warm neutrals. The earthy olive cast also works well alongside linen, tan leather and layered botanical tones.

A grounded sage tone that brings quiet depth to tailored seating and textured accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
