About this fabric

Part of J Brown’s Palermo collection, this plain fabric is made from 100% polyester and is suited to general domestic use. It has a Martindale rating of 25,000, making it a practical choice for everyday interiors where a neat, composed finish is wanted. The Duck Egg colourway reads as a subdued blue-green with a slightly heathered appearance, so it feels fresher than a sage and softer than a true teal. Supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, it can also be machine washed at 30 degrees or professionally dry cleaned in situ, subject to the pattern book guidance.

How to use it

Use this cool duck-egg tone to soften pale woods, chalky whites and brushed metals, or to bring a quiet colour note to a modern upholstered chair. Its muted depth also sits comfortably alongside linens, greys and stone shades without overpowering a room.
