About this fabric

This colourway in the Palermo collection has a restrained grey-beige cast that sits between stone and smoke, giving the surface a softened, easygoing depth. The plain weave is visible in the close-up, with a fine textile texture that catches the light without shine. Made from 100% polyester and rated at 25,000 Martindale, it is suited to general domestic use and has enough durability for everyday seating. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and can be machine washed at 30 degrees or professionally dry cleaned in situ, subject to the pattern book care notes.

How to use it

Use Palermo Smoke to ground pale woods, chalky paint shades and brushed metal details, where its cool grey tone keeps the scheme calm and tailored. It is especially effective on compact upholstery pieces, cushions or banquettes that benefit from a sober, low-gloss finish.
