About this fabric

This Ombra colourway is made from 100% polyester velvet and has a 138cm width, making it a practical choice for upholstered furniture. The surface appears softly plush, with fine vertical streaks that give the otherwise quiet sage green a lightly weathered depth. Its cool green tone is subdued rather than saturated, creating a calm, refined look on the face of the cloth. It is suitable for contract and domestic upholstery, is machine washable, and carries Contract GreenFR® Plus flame retardancy.

How to use it

Use this cool sage green on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its low-contrast vertical texture can add depth without introducing a strong pattern. Pair it with warm oak, chalky neutrals and brushed metal to balance the velvet’s gentle sheen.
