PIA1626 from Cristina Marrone’s Piazza collection is a muted sage-green chenille with a clearly defined checked weave. Pale green ground sections are crossed by deep blue-green and crisp white bands, giving the colourway a cool, tailored character.

About this fabric

The woven plaid combines softly greyed sage-green panels with darker blue-green lines and narrow white checks, while the chenille surface gives the pattern a gently tactile finish. At 138cm wide, this 100% polyester fabric is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable and carries Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, with the option to be treated to Crib 5 contract grade. The cool, low-saturation palette keeps the large check composed rather than bright, allowing the darker lines to define the upholstery shape.

How to use it

Use PIA1626 on a structured armchair, sofa or headboard where its sage base can sit alongside pale woods, chalky whites and blue-green accents. The dark woven bands add enough definition to anchor a calm, contemporary room without making the check feel heavy.
