Piazza FabricPIA1622

PIA1622 pairs a pale cream ground with a gently muted sage green check. The broad windowpane layout is sharpened by fine herringbone-textured lines, giving the cloth quiet visual depth.

About this fabric

This Piazza chenille is woven from 100% polyester and measures 138cm wide. Its soft cream base has a lightly warm, almost ivory cast, while the sage green bands read cool and subdued rather than bright. The intersecting lines form a large check, with the narrow chevron-like weave visible along the grid and adding tactile definition. PIA1622 is suitable for contract and domestic upholstery, is machine washable, and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade; its supplied flame-retardancy rating is Domestic Cig & Match.

How to use it

Use PIA1622 on a buttoned or simply shaped sofa to let the large sage check remain clear against the pale cream ground. It would sit naturally with warm woods, chalky painted finishes and muted green accents, avoiding a stark high-contrast scheme.

A calm pale cream check with sage green structure, suited to upholstery where a softly textured, understated finish is wanted.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside PIA1622 without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
