About this fabric

This Napoli chenille is woven from 91% polyester and 9% viscose, giving the dark taupe surface a subtly varied, tactile appearance. The 138cm width makes it practical for upholstery applications, while the Contract upholstery grade supports its intended use on furniture. Its Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade. In the swatch, fine charcoal and lighter threads break up the brown-taupe ground, giving the cloth a restrained, dimensional finish.

How to use it

Use this deep taupe-brown colourway on a sofa, headboard or dining chair where its charcoal flecks can reinforce black, walnut and aged metal accents. Pair it with warm stone and soft mushroom tones to keep the scheme layered without making the upholstery feel flat.

A deep taupe-brown chenille with charcoal flecks, well suited to tailored upholstery and darker, layered interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
