About this fabric

The swatch combines warm ivory, pale stone and cool grey threads in a close, irregular chenille weave. Narrow vertical shifts and small broken flecks create a restrained textural pattern that becomes more noticeable as the light moves across the surface. Made from 91% polyester and 9% viscose, this 138cm-wide fabric has a contract upholstery grade. Aftercare is professional, and its flame retardancy is Domestic Cig & Match; it can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use the pale greige tone on sofas, dining chairs or headboards where its softly varied surface can sit comfortably with warm whites, stone, light timber and muted grey accents. Its quiet colouring is particularly useful for adding texture without introducing a strong pattern.

Use this pale greige chenille to bring quiet texture and a softly layered neutral tone to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
