Vulcano FabricVUL2091

VUL2091 is a muted teal-blue chenille with a closely flecked surface that shifts between blue-green, taupe and softened brown tones. The fine woven texture gives the colourway a quietly layered appearance rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille is specified for both contract and domestic upholstery. In the swatch, small contrasting yarns create a compact, nubby weave with subtle vertical direction and gentle tonal variation. The cool teal base is softened by earthy taupe and brown flecks, giving the fabric depth without making the colour feel vivid or highly saturated. It is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame retardancy, with treatment available to contract grade.

How to use it

Use this muted teal-blue on a sofa, occasional chair or bench where its cool depth can balance warm timber, oatmeal upholstery and brushed metal. The taupe flecks also allow it to sit comfortably alongside beige, stone and soft brown furnishings.

The muted teal-blue ground and fine flecked weave suit contemporary upholstery with warm wood, taupe and natural linen accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
