About this fabric

This velvet features a cool pale aqua base interrupted by uneven vertical stripes in smoky grey and deep charcoal, with the mottled pattern allowing the ground to show through. Its pile catches the light across the changing stripe widths, adding subtle variation to the icy blue-green tone. The fabric is 138cm wide and made from 49% viscose, 49% polyester and 2% cotton. It is suitable for contract and domestic upholstery, with professional aftercare; it meets Domestic Cig & Match requirements and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use VEN3745 on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its cool aqua ground can lighten a scheme while the charcoal striping adds definition. Pair it with soft grey, chalky white and dark timber for a calm, graphic interior.

Use this cool aqua-and-charcoal velvet to bring graphic vertical movement to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
