About this fabric

The pattern is built from repeated vertical rectangles and narrow striations, with the strongest black sections set against chalky white and mid-grey ground. This tonal contrast gives the colourway a crisp, architectural character while the velvet surface softens the overall effect. Made from 49% viscose, 49% polyester and 2% cotton, the 138cm-wide fabric is suitable for Contract and Domestic upholstery. Professional aftercare is specified; it meets Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this cool grey colourway on a contemporary sofa, occasional chair or headboard where its black-and-white blocks can act as a graphic focal point. Pair it with matte black details, pale timber and soft grey walls to echo its restrained monochrome palette.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
