About this fabric

This Venezia velvet has a richly layered vertical design, with pale blue and chalky ivory broken by darker navy streaks and softly distressed edges. Its 49% viscose, 49% polyester and 2% cotton composition gives the pattern a textured velvet surface suited to both contract and domestic upholstery. At 138cm wide, it is practical for furniture applications where the cool blue ground and high-contrast vertical movement can be made a feature. Aftercare is professional; it meets Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use VEN3740 on an armchair, headboard or compact sofa where its cool icy-blue tone can brighten the room without losing the depth of navy. Balance the vertical pattern with warm ivory, natural wood and restrained brushed-metal details.

Use this cool blue velvet on statement upholstery, pairing its distressed vertical movement with warm ivory, navy or pale timber accents.
