Venezia FabricVEN3742

About this fabric

This Cristina Marrone Venezia fabric is a velvet composed of 49% viscose, 49% polyester and 2% cotton, with a 138cm width. The image shows alternating columns of elongated blocks, combining deep navy and blue-grey with icy blue and warm ivory accents. The directional velvet texture adds gentle tonal variation, making some of the pale sections appear brighter beside the darker blue areas. Rated for contract and domestic upholstery, it has domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade; professional aftercare is required.

How to use it

Use VEN3742 to upholster a contemporary armchair, sofa or headboard where its cool blue palette can act as a strong focal point. Pair it with plain ivory, chalk, charcoal or washed blue textiles to echo the contrasting blocks without competing with the pattern.

Use this blue geometric velvet on statement chairs, sofas or upholstered panels, balancing its structured blocks with quieter ivory and grey-blue textiles.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
