About this fabric

The dense chenille weave is visibly flecked with pale blue, white and muted grey fibres, creating a softly broken blue ground rather than a flat block colour. At 138cm wide, this 100% polyester fabric is specified for both contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable, and its Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame retardancy can be treated to contract grade. The cool blue tone and fine irregular texture suit seating where a relaxed, tactile finish is preferred.

How to use it

Use VUL2097 on an armchair, sofa or dining seat to introduce a calm denim-blue note, pairing it with chalky whites, weathered timber and brushed metal. The pale flecks help it sit comfortably alongside both cool greys and warmer natural neutrals.

Use this softly mottled blue chenille to bring cool, understated texture to upholstered seating.
