About this fabric

The swatch shows a deep charcoal grey that sits close to black, with the raised fleece weave creating a softly mottled, tactile face. Made from 100% polyester, UMB3084 is 138cm wide and graded for both contract and domestic upholstery. Its machine-washable aftercare is suited to covers that need regular maintenance while retaining this dark, forgiving colour. Flame performance is Domestic Cig & Match, with the option to treat it to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this near-black charcoal on a contemporary sofa or chair where its dense, softly textured surface can add depth without introducing a strong pattern. Pair it with pale timber, warm neutrals or lighter grey textiles to give the dark upholstery room to read clearly.
