About this fabric

Made from 70% polyurethane and 30% cotton, this 138cm-wide faux leather has a smooth-looking face with delicate tonal variation rather than a visible printed pattern. The charcoal colouring gives the surface a composed, architectural depth, while the restrained grain keeps the finish understated. It is graded for contract, domestic and healthcare upholstery, making the material suitable for a range of seating applications. Professional aftercare is specified, and its flame retardancy is listed as contract.

How to use it

Use the charcoal-grey surface on a sofa, banquette or dining chair where its cool depth can anchor lighter walls, pale timber and brushed metal. The nearly plain grain also works well on larger upholstered forms without introducing a strong motif.

The deep charcoal tone and restrained grain give this faux leather a clean, tailored finish for upholstered seating and contract interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
