Venezia FabricVEN3721

VEN3721 brings a quietly graphic look to the Venezia collection, with pale grey, ivory and warm taupe arranged in faceted square-and-triangle sections. Its softly reflective velvet surface gives the restrained palette gentle depth as the light moves across it.

About this fabric

This velvet features a tessellated geometric design, with each square divided into angular triangular planes that shift between cool grey, chalky ivory, soft taupe and faint sandy beige. The fine surface catches the light subtly, making the pale colourway feel dimensional rather than flat. It is made from 49% viscose, 49% polyester and 2% cotton, with a 138cm width and an upholstery grade suitable for both contract and domestic use. Aftercare is professional; it meets Domestic Cig & Match requirements and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Pair VEN3721 with warm white walls, pale oak and brushed metal for a light, contemporary scheme, or use it on a statement chair where the grey-and-taupe geometry can be seen clearly. Its muted contrast also works well alongside plain ivory or stone textiles.

Use this softly tonal geometric velvet to bring subtle pattern and tailored texture to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
