About this fabric

Made from 49% viscose, 49% polyester and 2% cotton, this 138cm-wide velvet is listed for both contract and domestic upholstery. The visible pattern is formed from uneven, vertical bands that move between cool blue-teal, olive and warm ochre, orange and mustard tones, with sharper berry-red accents. White interruptions between the bands keep the saturated colours from becoming heavy, while the textured velvet surface catches the light across the changing stripes. Aftercare is professional; the fabric meets Domestic Cig & Match requirements and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use VEN3715 on a statement armchair, headboard or sofa where its teal and berry notes can sit against warm neutrals. Pair it with ochre or olive accents to draw out the warmer vertical bands without competing with the multicoloured surface.

Use this lively multicoloured velvet to bring ochre, teal and berry accents to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
