About this colour

At #DDCBC7, Light Rose is warm and muted, with enough beige in it to keep the colour grounded on a wall. It lifts light gently rather than reflecting it sharply, so it can make a room feel brighter without turning crisp. In a north-facing room it will look quieter and a touch more clay-like, while in south-facing light the pinkness comes forward and the shade feels warmer and more open. It sits well beside pale oak, walnut, linen tones and deeper reds, and the Waterbased Eggshell finish makes it a good choice for woodwork as well as walls.

How to use it

Use Light Rose in sitting rooms, bedrooms or dressing spaces where you want a soft, settled backdrop. It works well with upholstered pieces in oatmeal, faded rose, warm grey or chocolate brown, and with painted joinery in off-white or deeper stone shades.
