About this colour

At #F6EFDD, Soft Ivory reads as a creamy ivory with a pale yellow-beige warmth rather than a pure white. It lifts a room well, but the colour has enough body to avoid looking thin or blue-tinged on the wall. In north-facing light it can feel slightly softer and more mellow, with the cream notes coming forward. In south-facing light it looks brighter and cleaner, while still keeping its warm undertone. It sits neatly beside natural timber, painted joinery, muted greens, biscuit tones and classic neutrals.

How to use it

Soft Ivory suits sitting rooms, hallways and bedrooms where you want a calm, light background that works with both painted woodwork and upholstered pieces. It pairs especially well with oak, mahogany, linen-look curtains and furniture in warm neutrals or gentle sage.

A warm ivory on the wall that brings a room up without feeling stark.

Pairs well with

Soft Ivory is a wall colour, so these are the cloths that sit against it: one of them on the curtains, the paint behind. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
