Knight's Tale Texture Cocoa

G P & J Baker X Kit Kemp Prints & Embroideries FabricBP11048.2

Knight's Tale Texture Cocoa is built on a deep cocoa-brown ground, bringing warmth and depth to its lively arrangement of flowers, foliage and decorative architectural motifs. Coral, powder blue, cream and olive-green details lift the dark background without losing its richly layered character.

About this fabric

The visible surface has a subtly textured, linen-like grain, while the detailed pattern combines clustered florals, curling foliage, stylised structures and small animal-like figures in a balanced repeating layout. Made from 82% viscose and 18% linen, this 137 cm wide fabric is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Its vertical pattern repeat is 81 cm and its horizontal repeat is 27 cm, so the decorative scenes need thoughtful placement on larger upholstered pieces. The warm cocoa base gives the colourway a more enveloping, timeworn mood than a lighter ground, with the blue and coral accents adding gentle contrast.

How to use it

Use this cocoa colourway on a reading chair, headboard or relaxed curtain scheme where its dark ground can sit alongside warm wood and aged brass. Echo the powder blue, faded coral and olive details through cushions or painted furniture for a collected, decorative room.

Pair the warm cocoa ground with aged timber, painted furniture and muted blue or coral accents.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Knight's Tale Texture Cocoa without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
