About this fabric
This colourway reads as a warm cocoa brown with muted depth, sitting between taupe and brown rather than leaning red or grey. The close plain weave gives the surface a fine, even texture that softens the colour and keeps the finish understated. Made from 100% polyester and suitable for general domestic use, it carries a 25,000 Martindale rating for everyday interiors. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and can be machine washed at 30℃ or professionally dry cleaned in situ, subject to the pattern book care notes. The result is a practical, quietly smart fabric that feels reliable and calm rather than showy.
How to use it
Use it on an accent chair, banquette or headboard where the cocoa tone can add warmth to oak, stone and cream surroundings. It also works well with green or terracotta accents for a rich, earthy palette.
