About this fabric
Part of the Cayman collection by J Brown, this plain fabric is composed of 100% polyester and has a Martindale rating of 25,000, making it suitable for general domestic use. The swatch reads as a pale champagne cream with a slightly golden warmth, softened by a fine, even weave that gives it a relaxed, textile feel rather than a flat finish. Its surface appears smooth but lightly textured, so the colour catches the light in a very gentle way. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and after care includes machine washing at 30℃ or professional dry clean in situ, with further guidance in the pattern book.
How to use it
Use this warm neutral on an armchair, banquette or headboard where its soft sheen can lift the room without feeling stark. It also works well for curtains or Roman blinds when you want a calm champagne tone that sits comfortably with oak, stone and muted colour accents.
A gentle champagne neutral that layers easily with warm woods, linen whites and brushed metals.

Pairs well with
Cayman Champagne is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
