About this fabric

This colourway shows a dark charcoal-brown ground with warmer brown undertones and a slightly heathered, textured surface that catches the light in soft patches. It sits within the Carrera collection of 39 plains and is made from 100% polyester, designed for contract use. With an 80,000 Martindale rating, it is built for hard-wearing upholstery and busy commercial environments. The supplied back-coated fire performance to Cigarette & Match to BS5852 adds to its suitability for project work, while the washable-at-40℃ aftercare offers practical maintenance.

How to use it

Use Carrera Black on compact seating, banquettes, or dining chairs where a dark neutral will ground lighter woods, stone, or brass. Its muted brown-black tone works especially well in tailored interiors that need depth without the starkness of a pure black.
