About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Carrera Anthracite is specified for contract use and offers a robust 80,000 Martindale, making it well suited to demanding upholstery schemes. The fabric is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request, and can be professionally cleaned in situ or washed at 40℃. Visually, this colourway reads as a dense anthracite grey with softer smoky highlights and the occasional tiny fleck, giving the plain a practical but refined texture. Its low-key, matte appearance keeps the surface calm rather than glossy, which helps it sit comfortably in modern commercial interiors.

How to use it

Use this anthracite plain on banquettes, task chairs, or contract stools where a disciplined, darker neutral is needed. It pairs neatly with pale timber, concrete tones, and crisp off-white finishes for a sharp contemporary contrast.
