About this fabric

From Sanderson’s Curios Weaves collection, this fabric is sold with a usable width of 140 cm and a substantial weight of 460 gsm, which supports its upholstery-led character. The design shows a small floral or foliate repeat set in orderly horizontal bands, with a vertical repeat of 17.5 cm and a horizontal repeat of 7.5 cm. In this colourway, the cocoa base reads earthy and softly muted, while the lighter motif lifts the surface without making it feel bright. The closely packed threads per cm give the cloth a refined woven texture that feels more structured than airy.

How to use it

Use Bagru Cocoa on an armchair, banquette, or cushions where the compact pattern can be read up close. Its warm brown tone works especially well with oak, tobacco leather, and chalky neutrals.

Pair this warm cocoa ground with tan leather, oak, and relaxed neutrals for an easy tailored look.
