About this fabric

This Sanderson velvet has a smooth, tightly woven face and a substantial 405 gsm handle, which gives the colour extra depth and a reassuringly full finish. The plain surface has no pattern repeat, so the focus stays on the saturated walnut tone and the way the pile shifts from shadowed brown to a softer warmed highlight. At 148 cm wide, it is a practical upholstery cloth for tailored seating, cushions and statement panels. The 102 threads per cm specification supports the dense, refined look visible in the swatch, while the absence of noted performance features keeps the emphasis on its natural velvet character.

How to use it

Use this walnut shade on a sofa, banquet seat or headboard to bring warmth into cream, stone or tobacco-toned schemes. It also works well as a grounding accent against brass, aged wood and textured neutrals.
