About this fabric

This colourway shows a smooth, even velvet face in a blue-green Wedgewood shade that sits between soft teal and heritage blue. At 405 gsm, with a usable width of 148 cm and no pattern repeat, it is a substantial plain velvet designed to feel substantial and tailored. The dense construction of 102 threads per cm supports the fabric’s crisp, closely packed appearance, while the pile catches the light subtly rather than flashing bright highlights. The result is a cool, elegant surface with enough depth to enrich furniture without looking heavy or dark.

How to use it

Use this muted blue on an armchair, banquette or sofa where its calm colour can read clearly against pale timber, chalky paint or brass details. It also works well in rooms with cooler greys and off-whites, where the Wedgewood tone adds colour without overpowering the scheme.
