About this fabric

This colourway reads as a deep, warm yellow-gold rather than a bright primary yellow, with a slightly muted, earthy richness across the nap. The surface appears dense and finely woven, consistent with the 405gsm velvet construction and 102 threads per cm supplied for this fabric. With a usable width of 148 cm and no pattern repeat, it is straightforward to plan for upholstery cuts and upholstered pieces with clean lines. The finish has enough sheen to lift the shade, but the overall effect stays plush and substantial rather than glossy.

How to use it

Use this saffron velvet on an occasional chair, ottoman, or banquette to bring warmth into a neutral scheme. It pairs especially well with walnut, dark bronze, and chalky off-whites for a grounded, tailored look.
