About this fabric

This fabric is a velvet from the Dorton Velvets collection by Sanderson, with a usable width of 148 cm, a standard length of 40 m and a substantial weight of 405 gsm. The pile appears tightly even and fine, so the colour sits as a calm blue-green rather than a glossy jewel tone. Because there is no pattern repeat, the focus stays on the depth of the single colour and the way the velvet softly shifts in the light. The 102 threads per cm specification supports the dense, refined handle visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Use this seafoam teal on an upholstered chair, ottoman or headboard where its cool tone can settle against pale oak, chalk white or brushed brass. It also works well in a layered scheme with stone, smoke grey and darker green accents.
