About this fabric

Part of Sanderson’s Dorton Velvets collection, this velvet has a substantial 405gsm weight and a tight construction of 102 threads per cm, which supports its rich hand and tailored appearance. The 148 cm usable width makes it practical for larger upholstery projects, while the 0 cm horizontal and vertical repeat confirms a plain, unpatterned cloth. In this colourway, the rose tone looks softened and slightly muted, with a warm dusty depth that reads more heritage than sugary pink. The pile catches the light gently, adding a quiet change of tone across the surface without introducing obvious gloss.

How to use it

Use this shade on an occasional chair, headboard, or banquette where its warm antique-rose tone can add softness without overwhelming a room. It pairs especially well with pale stone, aged brass, walnut, and other subdued natural finishes.
