Flannery Fig/Copper

Elysian Fabrics FabricSAF0261-01

Flannery Fig/Copper shows a small trailing leaf motif set across a smoky blue ground, with the foliage picked out in soft fig, copper and pale parchment tones. The overall effect is tailored and quietly decorative, with enough contrast to read clearly from a distance.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Elysian Fabrics collection has a usable width of 139 cm, a standard length of 30 m and a vertical pattern repeat of 24 cm with a 45 cm horizontal repeat. At 384 gsm and 31 threads per cm, it presents as a substantial woven fabric with a crisp, defined surface rather than a lightweight cloth. The ground colour is a muted blue with a slate cast, which makes the warm fig and copper leaves feel slightly lifted and luminous against it. The small-scale botanical repeat gives the design a tidy, rhythmic look that feels more tailored than rustic.

How to use it

The smoky blue ground and warm leaf tones suit upholstered dining chairs, a banquette or smart occasional seating where you want pattern without heaviness. It would also work well in a calm sitting room scheme alongside aged brass, walnut and natural linens.

A refined small-scale leaf design that feels easy to layer with timber, linen and brass.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
