About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Elysian Fabrics collection has a usable width of 139 cm and a substantial 384 gsm weight, which gives the cloth a reassuringly full handle. The 31 threads per cm help the leaf shapes read clearly, with the woven detail visible in the darker russet areas and a slightly lighter accent thread softening each motif. Its 24 cm vertical repeat and 45 cm horizontal repeat create a generous, rhythmic scatter that feels tailored rather than dense. In this Russet colourway, the design reads as warm, earthy and sun-baked, with orange-russet leaves that sit vividly against the pale ground.

How to use it

Use it on an occasional chair, a headboard or a pair of statement cushions where the warm russet leaves can bring colour without overwhelming the room. It sits well with oak, aged brass and soft ivory finishes, and the repeat gives enough movement for full upholstery pieces too.

Pairs beautifully with natural woods and quiet neutrals for a warm, grounded look.
