Dabu Namak

Curios Wallcoverings WallpaperSAW0238-02

Dabu Namak pairs a dusky terracotta ground with softly contrasting ivory botanical motifs. The alternating floral forms give the surface a measured, decorative rhythm without losing the warmth of the colourway.

About this fabric

The wallpaper shows two ivory floral motifs arranged in an alternating layout: a taller, pointed botanical spray sits beside a more compact ornamental flower form. Against the muted terracotta background, the ivory appears warm and softly defined rather than stark, giving the pattern a gently aged, tactile character. Dabu Namak is supplied at a usable width of 52 cm in standard 10.05 m lengths, with a 26 cm vertical pattern repeat and no horizontal repeat. The 147 gsm specification makes this a relatively lightweight wallcovering for decorative interior application.

How to use it

Use the dusty terracotta ground to warm a bedroom, study or hallway, pairing it with chalky ivory, aged timber and natural woven accents. Its restrained contrast also suits panelling or a single feature wall where the alternating motifs can be read clearly.

Use this warm, muted terracotta ground to bring softly patterned colour to bedrooms, studies or welcoming hallways.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Dabu Namak without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
