About this fabric

The cantaloupe-clay background has a gentle peach-beige warmth, allowing the ochre botanical drawing to read clearly without becoming harsh. Large leaves, curling stems and richly detailed rounded motifs create an ornate, layered surface with a distinctly traditional character. The wallpaper has a 68.6 cm usable width and a 10.05 m standard length, with a substantial 91.4 cm vertical pattern repeat. At 191 gsm, it presents the pattern with a considered, substantial feel suited to a feature wall or full-room scheme.

How to use it

Use Cantaloupe Clay to warm a dining room, bedroom or snug, especially alongside chalky neutrals, honey-toned timber and woven natural textures. Its softly earthy orange-clay tone works particularly well where a botanical pattern is wanted without the cooler feel of blue or green foliage.

Pair the warm clay ground with natural wood, ivory upholstery and aged brass for a softly collected scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
