About this fabric

This colourway shows a soft blue-green clay ground with a pale, almost chalky yarn running through the weave, so the pattern reads crisp rather than heavy. The small vertical repeat of 23.5 cm and horizontal repeat of 11.4 cm create a regular, upright rhythm across the cloth. At 481 gsm, with a usable width of 133.5 cm and 31 threads per cm, it has the substance of a proper furnishing fabric. The finish feels quietly textural and slightly artisanal, with enough density to suit upholstery while still keeping the design refined.

How to use it

Use it on a compact armchair, dining seat or ottoman where the cool blue clay tone can lift darker timber and stone. It also works well with linen whites, pewter and soft green accents for a fresh, restful scheme.

Pairs neatly with pale oak, chalk white and brushed brass for a calm tailored scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
