About this fabric

Beckett in Caraway Green from Sanderson’s Elysian Fabrics is a fabric with a usable width of 133.5 cm and a standard 30 m roll length, making it practical for coordinated upholstery projects. The cloth has a substantial weight of 481 gsm and a tight 31 threads per cm, which supports its suitability for seating and other hard-working uses. Visually, the colour reads as a mellow caraway-inspired yellow with a greenish cast, softened by the woven texture and the delicate herringbone-like pattern. The 23.5 cm vertical repeat and 11.4 cm horizontal repeat create a measured, understated rhythm across the surface rather than an obvious large-scale motif.

How to use it

This soft yellow-green works well on compact armchairs, banquettes or cushions where its warm tone can lift darker timbers and painted finishes. Pair it with chalk white, pale oak and muted olive for a fresh but settled room scheme.

A warm, sunny tone that brings gentle brightness to tailored seating or accent cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
