About this fabric
This warm chocolate-brown cloth has a minute diagonal micro-weave that gives the close-up surface a softly pebbled, almost dotted rhythm. Its composition is 41% viscose, 35% cotton, 18% linen and 6% polyester. At 140 cm (55") wide, it has a 2 cm (.79") vertical repeat and a 1.5 cm (.59") horizontal repeat, keeping the pattern exceptionally discreet. Rated to 28,000 Martindale, Lyall is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.
How to use it
Use this softened chocolate tone on a tailored armchair, headboard or relaxed curtain to add warmth without the visual weight of a very dark brown. Pair it with creamy neutrals, aged timber and brushed brass to bring out the fabric’s gentle, lightly textured depth.
A warm chocolate-brown micro-weave that brings subtle depth to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Pairs well with
Lyall Chocolate is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
