Tetbury Velvet Cocoa is a deep, warm brown velvet with a quietly shifting surface. The close pile catches the light softly, giving the plain colour depth without a visible pattern.

About this fabric

Made from 92% cotton and 8% polyester, this 140 cm (55") velvet has a rich cocoa tone that reads dark, warm and grounded in the swatch. Its smooth pile shows subtle horizontal and vertical changes in shading as the nap reflects the light. With a 50,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for fixed upholstery, loose upholstery, curtains and bedspreads. The fabric must not be washed, bleached or ironed, and requires professional dry cleaning.

How to use it

Use Tetbury Velvet Cocoa on a buttoned armchair, sofa or bedhead where its deep brown tone can create a cocooning focal point. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and lighter natural textiles to keep the dark velvet from feeling heavy.
