About this fabric

The colour sits between taupe and muted brown, with a grounded warmth rather than a cool grey cast. A close, even velvet pile gives the surface a soft lustre, while the plain design keeps the depth of colour as the main visual feature. Made from 92% cotton and 8% polyester, this fabric is 140 cm (55 inches) wide and suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Its 50,000 Martindale rub test makes it a practical choice for frequently used upholstered furniture; professional dry cleaning is required.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe on a classic armchair, sofa or upholstered bed to bring a mellow mushroom-brown depth to the room. It pairs naturally with creamy neutrals, aged timber and deeper chocolate or olive accents.
