Astell Mocha is a softly warm, light mocha textile with a finely woven surface and barely perceptible tonal variation. Its close plain weave gives the colour a calm, tactile depth rather than a flat appearance.

About this fabric

Made from 47% viscose, 33% cotton and 20% linen, Astell Mocha has a fine crosswoven texture that subtly catches the light across its warm beige-brown ground. The quiet 2 cm vertical and 2.5 cm horizontal pattern repeats are almost absorbed into the small-scale weave, preserving its understated plain appearance. At 140 cm wide, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 45,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on seating, while the fabric must be professionally dry cleaned and must not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use this mellow mocha neutral to soften a room with cream, oat and natural wood, or pair it with darker walnut and muted terracotta for greater depth. Its fine woven texture works equally well on relaxed upholstery, full curtains and layered bedspreads.
