Connaught Parchment

Essential Colour III - Neutral FabricBF11182.225

Connaught Parchment has a quiet parchment-beige ground crossed by exceptionally fine horizontal lines. Its close, even texture gives the surface a softly ribbed appearance, with subtle tonal variation where the light catches the weave.

About this fabric

Woven from 38% Viscose, 20% Linen, 15% Virgin Wool, 13% Polycotton, 10% Cotton and 4% Polyester, this 142 cm-wide fabric has a refined, tactile handle. The delicate horizontal structure repeats over just 2 cm, creating a restrained linear effect rather than a bold stripe. Its warm, lightly creamy beige reads calm and natural, while the fine weave adds enough definition for tailored upholstery and relaxed drapery. Suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, it has a 25,000 Martindale rub test; professional dry cleaning is required.

How to use it

Use this warm parchment beige to soften a tailored armchair or sofa, or let it fall as quietly textured curtains against deeper wood, taupe or muted olive tones. Its subtle horizontal line also gives bedspreads a neat, understated finish.

A softly textured parchment beige for tailored curtains, upholstered seating and coordinated bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
