About this fabric

16 Parchment is catalogued as a fabric, with no performance features noted for this colourway. In the close-up, fine horizontal ribs run across the surface, creating a subtle linear texture rather than a printed motif. Its softly yellowed beige tone remains low contrast and calm, while the ridges catch the light in delicate bands. The even, mid-weight-looking weave makes this colourway suitable for either upholstery or drapery applications.

How to use it

Use the warm parchment-beige tone with chalky whites, natural oak and muted taupes for a light, considered scheme. Its fine horizontal ribbing can add quiet structure to a plain chair, blind or curtain without introducing a strong pattern.

Use this softly ribbed parchment tone to bring warm, understated texture to upholstery, curtains or blinds.

Pairs well with

16 Parchment is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
