Denbigh Aqua

Essential Colour III - Colour FabricBF11210.725

Denbigh Aqua reads in this swatch as a warm oatmeal beige with a restrained cool cast, rather than a bright or saturated aqua. Its fine, even crosshatch gives the surface a gently tactile, textile-led character.

About this fabric

The close plain weave creates a small, regular grid across the surface, with subtle shifts between beige and cooler greyed threads as the light catches it. This fabric is composed of 14% Polyester, 44% Viscose, 23% Linen, 16% Cotton and 3% Polyacrylic, with a 137 cm width. A Martindale rub test of 28,500 supports its use for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. After care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the warm oatmeal-beige tone to soften a neutral seating scheme, or cut it into relaxed curtains that complement timber, stone and woven natural finishes. Its fine crosshatched texture also gives bedspreads a quiet layer of depth without introducing a bold pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
