About this fabric

The swatch shows a delicate micro-woven texture in which tiny aqua and neutral threads create a soft, lightly mottled surface. Its restrained 2 cm vertical and 1.5 cm horizontal repeats keep the pattern visually discreet at furnishing scale. Woven from 38% viscose, 27% linen, 14% cotton, 13% polyester, 6% wool and 2% nylon, the 139 cm-wide fabric is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 29,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on upholstered pieces, while care is limited to professional dry cleaning.

How to use it

Use Evelyn Aqua to cool a beige or ivory scheme without introducing a strong blue accent; it would suit a softly tailored armchair, relaxed headboard or full-length curtains. Pair its pale aqua threads with chalky whites, light oak and warm natural textures to bring out the balance between cool colour and beige depth.
