Thornham Indigo pairs a warm cream ground with closely spaced indigo-blue botanical motifs. The cool blue has a softened, slightly weathered quality against the pale background, giving the pattern gentle depth rather than sharp contrast.

About this fabric

Made from 48% cotton and 52% linen, this 135 cm-wide fabric has a small repeat measuring 8 cm vertically and 5 cm horizontally. Its fine, tactile surface carries the repeated leafy motifs clearly while retaining a relaxed natural character. Thornham Indigo is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 20,000 Martindale rub test. Care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the warm cream ground to soften the cool indigo in a reading-room chair, compact sofa or upholstered headboard. It also works neatly as curtains or a bedspread where the small-scale repeat can bring pattern without overwhelming the room.
