Cromer Paisley Indigo

Artisan II FabricBP10796.2

Cromer Paisley Indigo pairs a pale, natural cream ground with repeating paisley columns in a softened indigo blue. The low-contrast palette gives the intricate outlines a quietly aged, textile-like character.

About this fabric

The design shows alternating vertical bands of elongated paisleys and floral paisley medallions, rendered in muted blue-grey indigo against the light ground. Its 70% linen and 30% cotton composition gives the swatch a visible, gently textured woven surface. At 128 cm wide, with a 43 cm vertical pattern repeat and 32 cm horizontal repeat, the orderly layout can be planned across curtains, loose or fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 20,000 Martindale rub test supports its specified upholstery applications; the fabric must be professionally dry cleaned and should not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use the cool indigo-and-cream combination to add restrained pattern to a pale sitting room, bedroom headboard or relaxed window treatment. The softened blue keeps the paisley from feeling overly bright, while the vertical arrangement can accentuate the height of curtains or upholstered panels.

The cool indigo paisley columns bring measured pattern and gentle contrast to curtains, upholstery and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
