Caldbeck Soft Blue combines a cool, weathered blue-grey ground with softly contrasting cream floral panels. The printed design has a gently distressed appearance, giving the linen a softened, timeworn character.

About this fabric

Alternating undulating bands create the structure of the pattern, with leafy bouquets and floral sprays arranged inside the pale panels. The blue-grey tone is muted rather than bright, and the mottled print gives the surface subtle depth across the visible linen texture. Made from 100% linen and measuring 132 cm wide, it has a 38 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 33 cm horizontal repeat. Listed for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, it has a 20,000 Martindale rub test; care is professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use the cool blue-grey ground to bring a calm, faded note to curtains or a bedroom bedspread, or contrast it with warm ivory upholstery so the cream floral panels remain clear. Its 20,000 Martindale rating also makes it suitable for selected loose or fixed upholstery applications.
